TO Make Reservations now to join us in our California Zephyr Silver Palm Dining car for a nostalgic dining experience.

 

First, you and your group will gather in the museum for a guided tour of Avon Park's History.  After the tour your "Tour Guide” will escort you into the dining car where you will be seated for a wonderful dining experience.  While dining, don't be surprised if an AMTRAK or a CSX freight train rumbles by your window, blowing it's whistle You'll feel like you are once again "enroute" to somewhere.

We need to be aware of any food allergies upon confirmation of your reservations. Everyone will be eating the same foods and we cannot be responsible for any reactions.

 

The Silver Palm Dining Car is in full compliance with the Florida Department of Health regulations.                                                                                                                                              Our volunteers that staff the events have completed the required course hours for safe food handling  to the public.

COST

 

The luncheon is $15.00 per person and includes a museum tour conducted by one of our volunteers with a group photo and greeting the Amtrak train.

 

 

 

RESERVATIONS

 

Group size can vary from 16 to 40 people.  Two weeks’ notice is required in making reservations. 

 

All groups will meet in the museum and be escorted to the dining car by a museum volunteer. 

 

 

 

Dining car is for lunch only other agenda, Meeting, gift exchange and other personal programs         MUST be done in the museum.  Please let us know of your agenda when booking your luncheon.

 

 

 

FINAL COUNT

 

 

 

A final count is required 7 days prior to the event.  The deadline for the number of people in your group  is 7 days before the luncheon.  Each luncheon is prepared specifically for YOUR  group. 

 

NO additions or cancelations EXCEPTED after the final count day.

 

No shows will be charged $15.00 per person.

 

 

 

HANDICAP ACCESS

 

Access handicap ramp is available to the dining car.

 

 

 

Arrangements can be made for other special occasions:

 

Reunions, showers, birthdays, and anniversaries.
